I love it when I see a rainbow,
a halo or an eagle in the sky
I love it when I see a sunrise,
a sunset or Moon when full and high

in early spring I love everything
about the earth's rebirth,
birds that sing as they begin
marking out their turf

I love crocuses and daffodils
exploding all around
I love dandelions' yellow spills
everywhere they're found

I love it when water flows, shimmers, glows
splashing in the Sun
on its way to what's below -
knowing spring's begun

I love lengthening days, morning haze
I love the fragrant flowering
with smells which stay for days and days
to everyone empowering

I love the natural world as it's unfurled
wherever that may be
I love this time on this world,
breathing peacefully...
